Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Khalid and Jason Bryant lately, and how devastating it must have been for their family and community. The fact that this happened right outside a church during a children's service makes it even more horrifying. I can't imagine the trauma for those kids and their families, knowing something so terrible happened just outside while they were supposed to feel safe.
I'm also concerned about how this must be affecting the neighborhood. Lee Street NE sounds like a tight-knit community, and I'm sure everyone is feeling the weight of this tragedy. It’s hard to understand why the police haven’t been able to release any suspect information yet. I truly hope someone comes forward soon with a tip that breaks this case open. It just seems so senseless and cruel.
If anyone from the area is on here, how are people doing? Are there any community efforts underway to support Khalid and Jason's family or to create safer streets? It’d be good to know folks are coming together during such a tough time.

It's truly difficult to wrap my mind around the fact that this tragic event happened right outside a place of worship. The Antioch Baptist Church should be a refuge, a place for healing and community, not the backdrop for such a devastating act.
