Hey everyone, I've been following the Jerome Diggs case, and something that's really been on my mind is the community's reaction after the arrest of Gary Nathaniel Proctor. It's truly commendable how quickly the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force was able to make the arrest. Their swift action seemed to bring a sense of security back to the neighborhood, even though we're all still trying to make sense of the tragedy. I can only imagine how tough this time must be for Jerome's family and friends, given the suddenness of everything. Having someone in custody might give some sense of progress, but it surely doesn't fill the void left behind. It makes you think about the resilience of community spirits in such tough times and the role we all play in supporting each other. Thoughts and love to everyone affected. ? Has anyone heard if new details have come out about the motive? It just feels like understanding why this happened is a crucial piece of the puzzle for all of us. Stay safe, everyone.
