While the swift arrest and sentencing of Dion Martin may bring some level of closure or justice, it doesn't heal the loss felt by those who knew Muhammad. I'm really saddened by the news about Muhammad Washington. I've been thinking a lot about the impact of gun violence in neighborhoods like Northeast DC.
