I'm really puzzled by the timeline and what stands out to me is why it took so long to find Steven's car. So, Steven was last seen on April 28th, and his car isn't found until May 1st in Newburgh? That's three days of it just sitting somewhere. Did no one notice it during that time, or was it moved there later? And why Newburgh? It's only about 15 miles from Beacon, but it's a different town altogether. Do you think there's any significance in the choice of location? Maybe this was part of the Orsinis' alleged plan to divert attention or throw off the investigation? It's just so surreal to think of how calculated everything seems to be, down to abandoning his car. Anyone with local insights into Newburgh that might shed light on why that spot was chosen?
Anyone else find it odd how meticulous the Orsinis were in covering their tracks, yet they managed to leave surveillance footage of Nicholas at the gas station? I mean, if you go to the lengths they did to plan everything, wouldn't avoiding cameras be a priority? Maybe this is just one of those cases where hubris got the better of them. It makes me wonder if there are other overlooked mistakes they made that could eventually lead to finding Steven Kraft's remains or other evidence. Thoughts?
