Hello all, I've been following Avery Anderson's case, and it really struck me how little information seems to be out there. I can't help but wonder about the role the local community might play in breaking this case open. In a city as big as D.C., it's easy for incidents to get swept under the rug, but it's also full of people with sharp eyes and ears. Someone must have seen or heard something that night. It's disheartening to think that crucial details might be locked away because folks are scared or unsure of what they witnessed. I know the MPD has been reaching out, trying to gather more info, but maybe there needs to be a fresh community initiative—or even just more flyers and reminders about the open case. Perhaps a neighborhood rally or candlelight vigil might encourage someone to come forward. Avery's family deserves closure and answers, and the rest of us owe it to them, too, to keep this conversation alive. Please, if you know anything or have heard any whispers, don't stay silent.
