Hi everyone. I've been following the tragic case of Lola Gulomova and Jason Rieff, and I'm struggling to wrap my head around the emotional toll on their children. Losing both parents in such an unfathomable way must be incredibly overwhelming for those young girls. I've read that Lola had been granted full custody after Jason failed to attend previous court hearings, which suggests how complex and strained their family dynamics were. It’s just so difficult to imagine how they’ll process this trauma or rebuild their lives going forward. I hope they have a strong support system around them to provide love and guidance in navigating such an awful situation. My heart goes out to them and the extended family who must be grappling with this immense loss.

Has anyone else looked into their life prior to 2015 when all these marital issues supposedly began? It sounds like things had been building up over the years before they even returned from their last overseas assignment. I wonder if there were signs or changes in their relationship back then that might have signaled future troubles. It’s incredibly sad how things spiraled to such a devastating endpoint. Hoping the community can rally around the daughters during such a difficult time.
