It’s so tragic what happened to Bret Desmarteau. He was just trying to live his life, pursuing his degree and enjoying his hobbies. It’s so senseless that his life was cut short due to something as avoidable as road rage. I can’t even imagine how his family must feel right now. The fact that he had such a love for Harley Davidsons and classic cars really resonates with me, being a fellow motorcycle enthusiast. It’s a small comfort to know they caught someone, but it doesn’t bring him back. Hoping this brings some kind of closure for his family and friends.
Has anyone else been following the developments around Bret Desmarteau's case? I’m relieved to hear about the arrest, but still feel terrible for his family, especially considering how close they were. I read Bret was studying business. It's such a shame his life was cut short when he had so many aspirations. I also think about how road rage incidents happen too often and can have such tragic outcomes.
