Has anyone noticed the lack of CCTV footage released for the area where Mitchell Smith was killed? It's such a busy part of DC, with businesses and apartments everywhere. You'd think there would be cameras all over capturing something useful. I can't help but wonder if the footage hasn't been as helpful as we'd hope, or if the police have it but are choosing not to release it publicly yet. It must be so frustrating for his family and friends, waiting for answers. Do any locals know if businesses nearby usually have surveillance, or if there are any neighborhood initiatives to increase camera coverage? I truly hope something surfaces soon to help bring justice for Mitchell.
