Has anyone else been following the Charles Davis case in Southeast DC? I'm baffled at how little attention it’s getting outside of our community. It feels like more often than not, cases like this don't make it to national news, and that really concerns me. Charles was only 57 years old, and while I don't know him personally, my heart goes out to his family and friends. The fact that there have been no arrests yet is so frustrating—I can only imagine how they must feel. I've seen a few mentions that he had lived in that neighborhood for a long time. Does anyone know if Charles was involved in local community activities or events? Sometimes those details can help get a better picture of someone’s life and who might have reasons, however wrong, to harm them. I really hope someone out there has the courage to come forward with information. The $25,000 reward offered by the MPD is considerable, and it could be just the incentive needed for someone to speak up. Let's hope for some updates soon. It's really important for his family to see justice served.
