Has anyone else been thinking about the implications of those vaccination scars on Mary Edith Silvani? I've been following her case, and it stood out to me that investigators initially thought she might be from Europe due to those inoculation scars and her dental work. It's such a stark reminder of how small details can sometimes lead investigations down a completely different path. It must have been incredibly frustrating for her family all those years not even knowing where she might have come from, let alone what happened to her. I'm relieved that the advances in genetic genealogy finally gave answers, but it just makes me wonder how many other cold cases have similar puzzling details waiting to be unraveled. Silvani deserved to have her name and story revealed, and I hope others in her situation get that same justice soon. Thoughts?
