Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role community tips and information play in cases like Samuel Magana’s tragic death. It’s so important that we keep these lines of communication open with law enforcement. There was clearly a lot of collaborative effort between the North Las Vegas PD and Las Vegas Metro PD, but it makes me wonder how many pieces of the puzzle were provided by ordinary citizens stepping up? I’ve seen other cases where a single anonymous tip led to breakthroughs. It’s a comfort to know that, even if we aren’t directly connected, there’s a way to help seek justice for people like Samuel. If anyone out there knew him or saw something that night, I hope they find the courage to share it with the authorities. It might make all the difference for his family. Keeping them in my thoughts. Stay safe out there, folks.
