I've been following this case on and off since it happened, and it's just so tough to wrap your head around it. I read somewhere recently that Tracey Donahue’s family actually held a candlelight vigil in her honor not long after the sentencing. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for them to try and find some sense of closure in the aftermath of such a senseless tragedy. The community really rallied around them, and from what I understand, it was a beautiful way to maintain Tracey’s memory and to stand against the random acts of violence that took her life. I hope that this support brings some comfort to her loved ones. It's heartbreaking to think about how a drive down the interstate can end in such a devastating way. Sending strength to the Donahue family and all others affected.
