I've been following the tragic case of Alyssa Velasco, and I can't stop thinking about the bravery it must have taken for Johnny Brooks to survive that horrific night. Despite his own serious injuries, he somehow managed to escape and direct law enforcement to the scene. It's remarkable to think about how his quick thinking and presence of mind might have helped prevent further tragedy. I can’t imagine the trauma he must be dealing with after witnessing something so awful and losing his friends in such a violent way. My heart goes out to him and all of Alyssa's loved ones who are dealing with the aftermath of this senseless act. It's truly a testament to human resilience, but also a stark reminder of how fragile and profoundly unpredictable life can be. Let's hope the community continues to support them through their healing journey.
