Does anyone else find it chilling how domestic disturbances can escalate to such tragic outcomes? I’ve been following the Acosta case, and my heart really goes out to Selena, who had to experience such a traumatic event at only 15. It's so hard to imagine the strength she must have had to escape and call for help. Reading about the events, I can’t help but think about the importance of recognizing the signs of domestic violence and finding ways to intervene before it’s too late. Has anyone else seen similar cases where the escalation was so swift, or have any insights on how the community might support families like this one in the aftermath?
