I’ve been following the tragic events involving Adeline Sam and Amy Hinkey, and something that keeps haunting me is the courage it must have taken for someone to come forward, given Stoney Prior's threats. It's a grim reminder of the fear some might feel in these situations, especially within close-knit communities. The bravery of stepping up and ensuring justice is served—despite the real, personal danger—is incredibly commendable. I can’t even begin to fathom the emotional burden on Amy Hinkey's brother, who found the scene. It must have been unimaginably distressing to find loved ones like that—it’s something no one should ever have to experience. My thoughts are with him and everyone grappling with this loss. Hoping that with Prior's guilty verdict, the path to healing can begin for all affected. Has anyone heard if there are any ongoing community efforts or support in the Fort McDermitt area for the family members?
