I keep thinking about the 17-year-old girl who survived the ordeal. It’s unimaginable what she went through and what she's going to have to carry with her. It’s so easy to get caught up in the immediate tragedy, but we mustn’t overlook the survivors trying to piece their lives back together. They deserve all the compassion and understanding we can offer. My heart goes out to her and to the extended family who must be grappling with unimaginable grief. This really highlights the often unseen impact that extends beyond just the victims. Stay strong, young lady, we're all here hoping for your healing and peace.
