I've been piecing together more about Rebekah’s life, and it's apparent what an incredible person she was. Her passion for poker and her adventurous spirit were so inspiring. It's devastating to think how such a bright future was stolen from her. I've been thinking about Ian a lot, too—surviving not only the physical trauma but the emotional heartbreak of losing a loved one in such a horrific way. I can’t imagine the strength he needed just to make that call to 911. It’s a chilling reminder of the fragility of life and how quickly everything can change. I'm hoping Ian gets all the support he needs to heal and that Rebekah’s family can find some semblance of peace. When tragedies like this happen, it ripples through communities, and I can't help but feel compelled to do whatever I can to stand against violence. ?
