Has anyone else been following the chilling details of the Jennifer Ann Ratay case? The part that truly astounds me is how a community rally can emerge out of such tragedy. When I heard about the memorial gathering in front of the house where her body was discovered, it struck a chord. It's such a testament to the strength and compassion of her friends and family—and the community as a whole—in the face of such a horrific crime. It kind of renews my faith in humanity to see people come together to honor her memory, despite all the pain they must be feeling. I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it must be for them, but coming together as a community might offer some comfort. Thoughts and prayers are certainly with them.
