Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Lamar Pope closely and something that's really been on my mind is the location where this happened. That apartment complex near Cheyenne Ave and Civic Center Drive seems to be quite the hot spot, and not in a good way. I've read about a few incidents there before, but this one really hits home considering the severity of what happened. I can't even imagine how disturbing it must be for the residents living in that area. I hope more safety measures get put in place, not just for the sake of justice for Lamar, but for everyone who calls that neighborhood home.
Does anyone have any thoughts on whether local management or community leaders are stepping up security around there? Any improvements would help give some peace to folks still reeling from such a devastating loss. Sending thoughts to Lamar's loved ones and the others who were hurt. ?
