Does anyone know more about Charles Tidwell's life post-athletics? I find it so tragic that someone who once had so much promise just spiraled like this. From being celebrated on the track to such a violent end, it really highlights how life can drastically change. Losing a sports career must've been hard, but to imagine it played a role in this horrible incident is just catching me off guard. I do feel incredibly sympathetic for Karen's family and friends, as well as Charles’s family, who are caught up in this nightmare. It's such a devastating end to the lives of two people who clearly needed help. I keep wondering if Charles ever sought counseling or other support after his injuries.
