I recently came across the case of Victor Dee McClendon while diving into some cold cases from the Colorado Springs area. What really stood out to me was how Victor's body was discovered in an old barn in Adams County. It's so eerie to think about how such a tragic event could happen in a place probably once full of life and activity. I can't help but wonder about the stories that barn would tell if its walls could talk. In communities like ours, barns often hold nostalgic memories of gatherings and family, but now this one is tied to such an unsettling mystery. I hope one day Victor's family finds out what happened to him and gets the answers they deserve. If anyone has connections or old memories from Adams County around that time, even something small could become a crucial piece of the puzzle. Sending strength to those who continue to seek justice for Victor.
