I've been thinking a lot about William Heaney's case and the timing of everything. It's so eerie to consider that a visit to a local lounge, maybe just to unwind or hang out with friends, ended in such a tragedy. What's baffling to me is how the suspect managed to slip away without leaving any significant trace. You'd think someone, even back in 1975, would have seen or remembered something that could help solve the case. It makes me wonder about the lack of surveillance back then and how different this might have played out in today's world with CCTV cameras almost everywhere. My heart genuinely goes out to William's family and friends who have lived for decades with so few answers. Does anyone have thoughts or insights into how these older cases might be reviewed with new technology? Could there be hope for advancements to shed new light on this mystery?
