Hey everyone, I’ve been deep-diving into some cold cases lately, and I stumbled across the unsolved murder of Sonya Richardson from Denver in 1985. I can’t stop thinking about how her loved ones might still be searching for answers after all these years. Imagine not having closure since '85. So tough. ?
I was curious if anyone here has any theories about why her case hasn't been solved yet. Could it be a lack of physical evidence, or perhaps witnesses who’ve stayed silent? It seems like such a public place for something like this to have happened, even though it was an alley.
Maybe there's someone out there who saw more than they realized back then or who knows something that seemed minor at the time. With the advancements in forensic tech, there's hope, but it's baffling how some cases just linger.
Also, does anyone have experience with advocacy groups like FOHVAMP? I've read they play a crucial role in keeping these cases from being forgotten. Just thinking it’d be great if there were more we could do to support their efforts. We owe it to Sonya and every victim like her.
Sending strength to Sonya's family and hoping for a breakthrough sometime soon. ?️
