Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on the cold case of William Alonzo Jones, and something that struck me is the location where the shooting happened. It’s so unsettling to think that it was a seemingly ordinary day at the intersection of 13th Avenue and Fulton Street in Aurora. It's a spot that probably thousands of people have walked by without even knowing the tragedy that occurred there. My heart goes out to his family who have held onto hope for answers for so long. I can't imagine the pain they've endured all these years.
It baffles me how the vehicle—a 1974 to 1976 Plymouth or Dodge—is such a key part of the case, yet no one has stepped forward with any new information. Has anyone here stumbled upon old photos or news clippings that might give more visibility to the type of vehicle involved back then? It seems like someone must’ve seen something at the time. Even after all these years, it's so important to share and keep the conversation going. If anyone has any theories or details about the area back in '87, let’s discuss them here. Every little bit might help in some way.
