I find the role of the security logs in the Father's Day Bank Massacre case quite intriguing. It's chilling to think how the assailant took pages from the guard logbook along with other evidence. You have to wonder if there was something written in those logs that might have identified him or at least given a clue about his actions leading up to the crime. Removing those pages shows how well-planned this heist was. Was there possibly some connection between the guard shifts or routines detailed in those logs that the perpetrator already knew about? For the families, like Phillip Mankoff’s, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be that such an important piece of the puzzle was stolen. With all the technological advances we have today, I still hope that maybe something will emerge that sheds light on this aspect of the case. Keeping fingers crossed for any breakthrough that could finally give the families some closure.
