I’ve been following this case for a while and something that always puzzled me is the weather conditions on October 20, 2020. Having lived in the area, I know how unpredictable Alaskan waters can be, especially around the Eek River. Does anyone know what the weather was like that day? It seems strange that a group experienced enough to hunt seals would venture out if conditions were bad. I haven’t seen any reports on whether they checked forecasts beforehand. Just wondering if weather played a bigger role in their disappearance than initially thought. Stay safe, everyone.
