Has anyone else been following the discussion around the security footage from Sharky's Bar that night? I've read that there might be some footage, but it hasn't been released to the public yet. I wonder if it shows anything that could give more insight into the events leading up to the shooting or if there are potential witnesses who might not have come forward. It's such a tragic situation, and my heart goes out to Quincey's family and to Nicole, who's had to endure so much. I'm hoping for more clarity on what happened and that justice is truly served. Does anyone have updates on whether the footage might be used in the trial or if it's just being kept under wraps for now?
I can't stop thinking about how this case impacted the community in Pueblo. It's really difficult to fathom the immense pain that Quincey's family must be experiencing, along with Nicole Vallejos and her loved ones. The fact that there was another life—a baby—lost that night adds another layer of devastation. ?
Has anyone else noticed how these incidents often hinge on things like revenge? It makes you wonder what kind of situations could lead to such drastic measures. Blaming law enforcement often seems like the go-to, but here they caught Damen Blake pretty quickly. Not that it brings any of the victims back, but maybe it provides some sense of closure?
I hope the legal process brings justice and somehow supports those affected. Maybe knowing the community is standing by them provides a bit of comfort. What are your thoughts on how people in Pueblo have rallied together after this tragedy?
Does anyone else find it utterly shocking how public places we think of as safe can become scenes of such horror in an instant? The incident at Sharky's Bar really makes me question the fragility of our everyday environments. My heart goes out to Quincey's family and friends—their loss is unimaginable. And I can't help but think about Nicole Vallejos, who not only suffered physically but also lost her unborn child. It's so hard to comprehend what she must be going through emotionally. The community seems to have rallied in support of her, but it's hard to imagine how one begins to heal from something like this. I hope justice for all involved can offer some sense of closure. The quick work by police to apprehend Damen Blake certainly seems like a step in the right direction.
