It's baffling to me how Martha Lena Pilnok's disappearance has remained such a mystery after all these years. I was just thinking about the fact that her daughter, Margaret, still tried to find answers in 1965 after so long. It seems like Margaret was genuinely in the dark about Martha's whereabouts, which makes it even more strange that Fred mentioned Martha was living out of state in his divorce filing. If that's true, why was there never any attempt for her to contact her daughter? And why didn't the divorce petition spark more of an investigation into her actual location? It's like a piece of the puzzle is missing, and this inconsistency just adds another layer to the mystery. Anyone else think there might be more to this "living out of state" claim? What do you guys think could have happened here?
