I’ve been following Glenn R. Houston’s case closely, and something really stuck with me. It's so disheartening to hear that this was the third attempt on his life. It makes me wonder about the circumstances leading up to that terrible day. How must it feel to live under such threat and uncertainty? It speaks volumes about the desperation and pressure people in environments like Chatham face due to gang influence and the constant looming threat of violence. These dangerous dynamics have real, tragic human costs, and it’s infuriating to think about how someone might see murder as a way to elevate their status. I can’t even imagine the stress Glenn’s family went through each time their phone rang, worrying about whether something terrible had happened. My heart goes out to them as they seek justice in a system that can sometimes feel impossibly slow and indifferent. Hoping the CPD can piece everything together and bring some closure, not just for Glenn’s family but for the community too. It must be incredibly tough for the people who call Chatham home to carry on under such conditions, yet their strength and resilience continue to inspire.
