Does anyone else find it odd that even with the blizzard hitting so suddenly, Floyd Ival Dorsey was only 500 yards from his own camp when he vanished? It seems like such a short distance, yet he disappeared without a trace. I keep thinking about the report of that man named Pickett offering him a ride. Could there be any connection to Pickett’s Corral, or is it just a bizarre coincidence? I'm curious if anyone from that area remembers anything about this Pickett character or if there were any local rumors about him. It's been so many years, but sometimes small town stories can stick around. It's frustrating that none of the leads have panned out. Would love to hear what others think!
