I've been thinking a lot about the impact of this tragedy on Svetlana's son. It’s unimaginable what this young boy has gone through—witnessing the loss of his mother in such a violent way and at the hands of his own father. It's a nightmare no child should ever face. While the legal system has done its part by convicting Sudakov, there remains a massive void and emotional aftermath for this young man. I truly hope he's receiving the support and counseling he needs to process everything. Just knowing what he went through, calling 911 and trying to be there for his mom in her final moments, is haunting. I wonder if there are services or support networks dedicated specifically to children who endure such traumatic domestic violence situations. It seems crucial for their healing journey. My thoughts are with him and anyone else affected by this tragedy. It’s a painful reminder of the urgent need for awareness and action surrounding domestic violence.
