I've been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Dr. Christopher King, and one thing that really hits home for me is how a place as ordinary and familiar as a restaurant became the site of such a heartbreaking event. It's hard to imagine what his family and friends went through, knowing he was simply out for a meal when his life was taken so abruptly. Given the lack of information about the suspect or suspects, I hope the Boulder community can unite to find answers. It’s just so unsettling not knowing who was responsible or why this happened. I can only imagine what kind of person would bring violence into such a public space. Keeping Dr. King’s loved ones in my thoughts and hoping for justice and peace for everyone affected.
