Does anyone have more information on the mental health advocacy work that Sara and Amanda were involved in? I came across mentions of the sisters being quite open about their struggles with OCD and even participating in a documentary to raise awareness. It breaks my heart thinking about what they went through, yet it's powerful that they used their experiences to help others. I wonder if their advocacy efforts have continued to raise awareness about OCD after their passing? It would be nice to hear about any ongoing projects or tributes that honor their courage and efforts. My thoughts are with their family—they’ve gone through so much.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the immense challenges the Eldritch sisters must have faced on a daily basis due to their OCD. One detail that's been sticking with me is their reported 10-hour showers. It’s almost unimaginable how overwhelming their compulsions must have been to drive them to such extremes. I can’t help but feel a mix of sadness and respect for how hard they must have fought against their disorder every single day. Their story really underscores the critical need for accessible mental health resources and support. It makes me wonder about the gaps in the mental healthcare system that may have failed them. Was there something more that could have been done to help? Sending love and strength to their loved ones who have to carry on without them. ?

Hey everyone, I've been reading through the posts about Sara and Amanda Eldritch, and I keep thinking about how brave they were for sharing their struggles publicly before all of this happened. I recently came across an old interview where they talked about being hopeful after a surgery that helped alleviate some of their OCD symptoms. It really struck me how much courage it must have taken to open up about their battles with mental health. This makes me wonder if there are any advocacy groups or resources specific to OCD that we can support in their memory. It's clear they fought so hard to find relief and live fulfilling lives despite their challenges. If any of you have info on this, please share. Supporting such causes could be a meaningful way for us as a community to honor their memory and help others who are struggling. Let's keep their story alive and encourage awareness and understanding.
