I can't stop thinking about how Wayne Maurice Carter was the kind of person who just wanted to help. Hearing about how he rushed to support his sister during such a terrifying moment truly shows his selflessness. It's deeply unsettling to know that his kindness was met with such violence. The fact that his nephew, an innocent child, had to witness such horror and endure his own injury is gut-wrenching. I can't begin to imagine the trauma this young boy carries, having lost both his father and uncle in such a horrific way. Sending my thoughts to the family, hoping they find some semblance of peace in the midst of this nightmare. Does anyone know how the community has been supporting Carter and Readus' loved ones since the trial?

I've been following the discussions about Wayne Maurice Carter's case, and something that struck me was how dedicated he seemed to be, both in his personal and professional life. It's truly sad that someone with such a commitment to his family and job was taken away so violently. Seeing young individuals like Carter, who are working hard to build their future, fall victim to such senseless acts really makes you wonder about the world we're living in. Working as a forklift driver, he must have encountered many challenges, but he persevered, and it's clear he was a person who had a lot to give. My thoughts are with Carter's family, especially his siblings, who not only lost two brothers in this tragedy but now have to navigate life without them. ? Do any fellow sleuths know more about how Carter’s family is coping now?
