I’ve been following the Daniel Amos Smith case for quite some time, and I can’t help but keep going back to the NCIS involvement. It's always intrigued me considering their typical role. Given his connections to the military community, I've wondered if maybe someone at that party could have been linked to the naval base or had access to restricted areas. It feels like there’s something more under the surface since we're dealing with a military investigation. Does anyone else think there could have been something Daniels was involved in, knowingly or not, that might have led to a cover-up on some level? I realize this might sound like a conspiracy theory, but with little to no information for decades, it feels like a plausible direction we haven't really discussed much. What do you guys think? Is there any other information about NCIS getting involved in similar cases?
