I just can't get the image of Robert Collins' family out of my mind. I mean, losing someone so unexpectedly and in such a violent way must just upend your entire world. I wonder how the local community has been supporting them through this nightmare? Vigils are supposed to be gatherings for peace and remembrance, not scenes of violence. It's baffling how something meant to honor someone's life could turn into such a tragic event. I also can't help but think about the people who were there and whether they still feel safe attending community gatherings after witnessing such a tragic event. Has there been any community response or actions taken to ensure that these spaces are safe in the future? It's so important for people to be able to come together without fear. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by that day in Memorial Park. Let's hope there's progress soon in finding whoever's responsible and bringing them to justice.

Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic passing of Robert Collins and something I've been thinking about is the environment at these vigils and community gatherings. It's so sad to see that a place meant for healing and unity turned violent. I can’t imagine what Robert's family and friends must be going through, attending a vigil only to face such a devastating loss.
Given that these are spaces meant for reflection and mourning, it makes you wonder about the safety measures and the atmosphere that day. Was there any tension building up beforehand, or was this completely unexpected? I hope those who were there can eventually find a sense of peace, but it’s tough when justice still feels so out of reach. It's been a while, and the lack of updates must be incredibly frustrating for everyone who loved Robert.
Are there any locals here who might be able to shed light on how the community is doing since this happened? Is there any ongoing support or action from the community to ensure these gatherings stay safe in the future?
