I've been following AJ's case, and it’s truly gut-wrenching to think about his family trying to make sense of this tragedy. One detail that stands out to me is how AJ's funeral was impacted by COVID-19 restrictions. It must have been incredibly difficult for his loved ones not to gather in person and share their grief and memories. Grieving through a Zoom call sounds so isolating, and I can’t imagine how hard it is for his community to find closure this way. I hope they find comfort in the memories they do have and that justice for AJ eventually brings some peace. Keeping his family in my thoughts.
I recently stumbled across this case while browsing, and AJ's story really stuck with me. It's so frustrating that a vibrant life was cut short, and yet there's so little about what actually happened that day in the park. I’m curious if anyone here knows more details about the investigation or if there are any community efforts to put a spotlight on AJ's case.
His love for Krav Maga and his deep bond with his dogs paint a picture of such a dynamic individual who had so much going for him. I can't help but imagine how tough this must be for his family and friends, especially since his case seems stagnant with no suspects in sight. AJ clearly touched many lives, and he deserves justice.
Does anyone in the Denver area know if there have been any efforts to raise awareness or possibly any vigils planned to honor him?
