I've been thinking a lot about the memorial vigil that was held for David "Indio" Tafoya. I've read about how the community came together to honor his memory, and it's moving to see how many people cared deeply for him. This senseless loss highlights the bond and love that surrounded David, despite the tragedy that shattered it. For those of you who attended or knew him, I imagine the pain and sorrow are incredibly difficult to bear. I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts or stories about the impact David had on the Pueblo community—perhaps a bit of comfort can be found in remembering how he touched the lives around him. It's unimaginable what his family is going through, and I hope they find strength in these shared memories.
Hey everyone,
I keep thinking about the impact that Indio's death must have had on his family and friends. It's hard to even imagine losing someone in such a sudden and violent way, and I can't help but wonder how they're coping with it all. I read that he was shot in Pueblo on April 4, 2021, but it seems like there hasn't been much progress in the investigation. It's unsettling how, in cases like this, the pain for loved ones only extends without closure. I hope that the family is finding support from the community during such a difficult time. Does anyone know if there have been any recent community efforts or vigils held to honor his memory? It would be good to hear about actions being taken to keep his memory alive and seek justice. Let me know if you've heard anything—I think it's important for us to keep these conversations going.
