It's so incredibly sad to hear about what happened to Ramon. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is going through right now. I keep thinking about all the joy he must have brought to his six siblings and how that light has been permanently dimmed. I think it's crucial that we talk more about the role of gun safety, especially when it comes to kids and teens. It's horrifying that such a preventable accident has taken away such a promising young life. We can only hope that more awareness and education can prevent future incidents such as these from happening. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Ramon right now, and I hope that justice is served in a way that brings some measure of peace to his family. Hug your loved ones and keep spreading the word about the importance of keeping firearms secured and out of reach of minors.
