I've been following the case of Vetho Marcos Finnell-Vigil and just wanted to chime in with some thoughts on his community impact. From what I've gathered, Vetho, or "Pito" as his loved ones called him, was someone who deeply treasured his Pueblo roots. This senseless act of violence not only took away a promising young life but also left a deep void in his local community. It makes me wonder if there are local initiatives or movements stepping up to address gun violence in Pueblo. It’s incredibly frustrating to see such tragedies happening without clear resolutions. My heart aches for his family and friends who are still waiting for justice. Sending them strength as they navigate through this painful journey. If anyone has more insight on community efforts following this tragedy, I’d love to hear about it.
