Knowing how these events impact the community, it’s encouraging to see the indictment of Officer Ricky Anderson, but the journey to justice is far from over. I can’t imagine what Donovan's family and friends are going through, having to wait for the legal processes to unfold. It's crucial for the community to keep advocating for changes in how warrants are executed to prevent something like this from happening again. It’s moments like these we need to collectively ensure not only accountability but also a push for systemic changes in how law enforcement interacts with the community.
