Has anyone else been following the jury's reaction during Castorena’s trial? I've been thinking about how the jury must have felt listening to the details of this horrific case. Sitting through testimony and evidence about four innocent lives taken must have been incredibly difficult for them. My heart truly goes out to the families of Jessica Serrano and others who were lost that night. I hope that seeing justice served brings them some measure of peace, even though no verdict can truly bring back their loved ones. Yet, it's heartening to see the criminal justice system work tirelessly to hold someone accountable for these vicious acts. Anyone else have thoughts on how this may impact future domestic violence cases and protective orders? It seems like there might be room for change to offer better protection to victims.
