Hey everyone, I've been digging into Deputy Rainbolt's case, and something that stands out to me is the legal rollercoaster it became. After reading about his tragic death and the manhunt that followed, it's astonishing how Nath Hendricks, the man responsible, managed to evade lasting justice. What strikes me is how law enforcement and legal systems from that era dealt (or didn't deal) with such heinous crimes, especially when you think of Deputy Rainbolt's young son left without a father. It's emotional to think about how his family must have felt seeing Hendricks escape a murder conviction after everything they went through. Imagine having that kind of loss and then the frustration of the legal outcomes. I truly hope Rainbolt's sacrifice isn't forgotten and continues to inspire justice and integrity. Does anyone know if there's a memorial or stories within the Roswell community that keep his memory alive? These personal touchstones can be so vital for families and communities to heal over generations. Sending thoughts to his surviving family and everyone else who serves bravely. — Tony
