I can't stop thinking about the influence of loyalty and how it played out in this case. It's incredibly distressing to see how someone can become so consumed by a need for vengeance that they lose sight of the larger picture. Raymond Green's murder is just so senseless. It's like the defendant was living in his own story where he felt he was the hero bringing justice, even though it only led to more darkness and grief. I feel for Raymond's friends and family, who must struggle with the loss every day. No one should have to say goodbye to a loved one in such a violent way. And what's more, the misguided loyalty that led the defendant to commit this murder leaves a trail of devastation behind. It really makes you wonder how different things might have been if the need for revenge hadn't clouded everything.

Did anyone else find it particularly chilling how premeditated the actions of the defendant were? The idea that someone could harbor that much anger and seek revenge over the course of a decade is so unsettling. It’s just hard to wrap my mind around that level of obsession and planning, especially when it led to such a tragic outcome. My thoughts go out to Raymond Green’s family and friends, who I’m sure are dealing with the ripple effects of this loss long after the trial concluded. It makes you wonder how many lives are impacted when revenge takes control like that. What a tragic reminder of how deeply pain can fester when it goes unaddressed.
