I’ve been thinking a lot about the Roswell shooting in 2015—specifically how it happened near a pretty busy intersection, yet nobody seems to have seen anything critical to break the case. It’s baffling and disheartening. West McGaffey and South Sunset aren't exactly quiet streets, so why hasn't a key witness come forward yet? Uel Montex's family deserves answers. There must be people who heard or saw something that night. I hope they find it in their hearts to share with the authorities. Keeping quiet helps no one, and the streets are less safe with a killer at large. Let's come together and ensure justice is served and Uel’s family finds some peace.

I've been thinking a lot about the Roswell case involving Uel Montex lately. It's been over eight years, and I'm still struck by how devastating this incident must have been for Uel's family and friends. One thing that's really been on my mind is the location of the crime scene. It's so unsettling that this happened near West McGaffey Street and South Sunset Avenue—a place that's probably familiar to many locals. How does a community heal or feel safe again after something like this? I know the Roswell Police Department worked hard to investigate, but sometimes I wonder if there's anything more that we as a community could do. Maybe it's organizing more neighborhood watch programs or advocating for better street lighting. Does anyone else have any thoughts or suggestions on how we can come together to support Uel's family and prevent future incidents? My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragic event.
