Hey everyone, I'm posting because I can't stop thinking about Edgar's mom, Hermelinda, and the pain she must be going through. It’s tough to imagine losing a child in such a violent and confusing situation, especially in the place they called home. I know there are mixed opinions about what happened that day, but it feels important to remember Edgar was just 23, with a whole life ahead of him. No matter what, his mom deserves our empathy and support. For any locals on here, was there ever any push from the community for more oversight on situations like this? It seems like incidents between law enforcement and citizens could benefit from more transparency or dialogue, if only to try and prevent tragedies from happening again. Would love to hear thoughts or similar experiences from anyone here.
