It's incredibly saddening to think about the loss of Christopher Lauster in such a senseless act of violence. I've been following this case, and something that stands out to me is how the community has been rallying together after this tragedy. Despite the fear that strikes when something like this happens close to home, seeing people come together to support each other and Christopher’s family is a reminder of the resilience and strength within our community. The arrest of Armendariz might bring some solace knowing that steps are being taken towards justice, but it’s the collective support that truly underscores the spirit of Las Cruces. I hope this momentum continues, not just in seeking justice, but also in fostering a safe and supportive environment for everyone. Keeping the Lauster family in my thoughts during this difficult journey.
