We often don't know the full extent of tensions brewing beneath the surface at places where we spend so much of our time, like a workplace. It seems like Meraz-Nevarez might have reached a breaking point given the stress surrounding his livelihood and housing situation. Still, it's such a troubling reminder of how irreversible actions can arise out of desperation.
