I've been following the tragic case involving Brendon Herrera, and something that stands out to me is the impact this has had on his family and friends. It's one thing to read about the facts and figures, but the personal loss is something that just can't be quantified. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through, especially considering how sudden and senseless the violence was. It's hard to make sense of something so truly devastating. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
