Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Miranda Molinar, and while it's incredibly sad to see such a vibrant life lost so young, I've been thinking a lot about the gun involved in this tragic incident. How does a minor even get access to a firearm? It raises so many questions about gun access in this community, especially considering the age of the people involved. Was it from a family member or stolen? Are there any existing regulations in Los Lunas that address minors and firearms?
It's moments like these that make you realize how critical it is for communities to come together and educate each other about gun safety and responsibility. It might not bring Miranda back, but hopefully, it can prevent another family from having to endure such immense loss. Does anyone know if the investigation revealed any more about the gun's origin or if any changes have been proposed regarding this issue?

The Murder Israel Treadwell was trialed as an adult the firearm came from his parents, After he shot Miranda his sister went to get their parents who was sleeping and the parents went to try help hide the weapon and clean up Israel when police and paramedics came Miranda was still alive after 30 minutes even though Israel didn’t flee no one of his friends or family’s of his or her friends didn’t stayed to help aid her, It’s been 8 years and the Treadwill family has moved away and Israel is still an inmate, His mother only tried to make it like he was remorseful but he held that gun to his “friend” head voluntarily and pulled the trigger even tho he was uncertain there was bullets he still pulled the trigger to show her “He could do it” shooting her.

What a horrible story. Thank you for letting us know what happened. This is so senseless. I can't even imagine what Isreal was thinking when he did that. I just don't get how this is possible. What sentence did he get for it?
